Afrikaner - a unique nation

Goto the E-book: Afrikaner a unique nation

“But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.”  (Deut.4:20)

We also read Deut.4:1-20; 33-40.

1          Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.

2          Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

3          Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Ba’al-pe’or: for all the men that followed Ba’al-pe’or, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.

4          But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day.

5          Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

6          Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

7          For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

8          And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

9          Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;

10         specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

11         And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

12         And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.

13         And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

14         And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

15         Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire;

16         lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

17         the likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,

18         the likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:

19         and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the son, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

20         But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

33         Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

34         Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

35         Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.

36         Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he showed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.

37         And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight, with his mighty power out of Egypt;

38         to drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.

39         Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

40         Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.

The Afrikaner nation is a unique part of this people which God calls his people of inheritance. May God give you grace to realize the implication of this and what flows from it. When you do realize it, it will be the greatest discovery of your life, because your heritage, where you come from, who you are, and your destiny, will have new meaning.  This nation is not a lot of orphans, and God shall not allow his people to be abused. There is no other nation like the Afrikaner Nation. I am not saying this to arouse Afrikaner pride, I am merely stating a fact. Our own history is proof that God took the cream of Western Europe, Germany, Norway, Sweden, England , Scotland and France, and settled them in this country. The largest part of the white population of South Africa are therefore descendants of these nations. Did this happen by chance? No! The Great Almighty God does not just do things. He has a Plan, and you and I are part of it.

However, there are also mighty forces in the spirit world that are working to blind us from seeing these things. Throughout all these years it has not been easy to expound these things to God’s people. It involved a lot of toil and tears: books were written, cassettes made, and journeys undertaken - all in faith. We are faced with the enemy of God’s people, the devil. It is he who operates in the darkness and also wants to keep God’s people in the dark.

The history of how this “nation” was transplanted from Western Europe to the southern tip of Africa is well-known. Just as you should read the Bible with your imagination, so also you should read your history with your imagination. No historian can do justice to the history of this settlement,  how Jan Van Riebeeck first set foot on these shores in 1652 and his struggle against the Hottentots in the wild wilderness that confronted him. Our white population is still here today. They survived the initial settlement; the border conflicts; the unrighteousness of foreign domination; the onslaught of barbarians in the interior that were moving southward from other regions in Africa; the Great Trek Bloodriver; (Groot Trek Bloedrivier) the different annexations; wars of independence; the Anglo-Boer War; poverty; depression; the exploitation by the financial powers; and the brainwashing by media magnates. This alone has already implanted a great nobility in the soul of our Afrikaner mind, even though we are still ignorant of our true identity. This ignorance is part of Satan’s trick and design, because he doesn’t want us to know who we are.

Within a short period of time this Afrikaner Nation, now [1988] numbering only about two million people among the white population of South Africa, developed its own language, with provision for the terminologies of the various professions associated with modern civilized Western Countries, notwithstanding being surrounded and overshadowed by the English language and culture. Scientific and technical journals of a high standard have been established for publication of research and other articles, while many books have also been written. Through local research significant contributions, some of a pioneering nature, have been made to the general well-being of mankind in the various fields of science, engineering, technology, medicine and health care. We have a wonderful culture, poetry and prose. To crown it all, this small nation has its own Bible in its own language in a fierce hostile world. The 1933 Afrikaans Bible is a good translation with a few minor mistakes of no significance, which were attended to in the 1953 revision. We therefore have our own Bible equal to the best in the world.

Listen carefully, the Afrikaner is the key to the survival of the whole western world. Don’t allow the devil to tell you this is too far-fetched. I ask anyone to refute this claim. Should the Afrikaner disappear or succumb, there will be no hope for the South African and Western Civilizations. South Africa and the Middle-East are the two strategic points on which the stability of the whole world depends. South Africa is rich in minerals and strategically situated on the southern tip of Africa, while the wheels and machinery of the world cannot role and operate without the oilfields of the Middle-East. Without South Africa one of the strategic points is lost to the West. We need to realize this in order to understand the onslaughts on the Afrikaner from all quarters, experienced in the form of terrorism, sanctions, brainwashing and indoctrination.

Who is this Afrikaner? The people that came here, like Jan Van Riebeeck, came here with full religious conviction, with the [Dutch] Bible in hand. Holland itself had just come out of its struggle for liberty. In those days they were the leading nation of the world. After them the Huguenots came. They were people of conviction and firm principles, prepared to sacrifice “hearth and home” for their religion. The same applies to all the others that came. Thus, our ancestors came from Western Europe. But where did they [our ancestors] come from? We need to know this in order to know ourselves. By the grace of God and in the light of his Word, I want to show you where they came from originally, so that you can understand who we, the Afrikaners, really are.

Our ancestors in Western Europe were the descendants of the “Lost” Ten Tribes of Israel, who had been taken captive by the Assyrians and relocated in the cities of the Medes in Halag and Habor! If you look at a world map, you will see that they are situated around the Black and Caspian Seas. From those areas the Israelites eventually escaped. These Ten Tribes were taken into captivity because they had forsaken God and had deviated from the statutes referred to in the text that we’ve read. With a mighty hand God had led Israel out of Egypt because He wanted them to serve him alone, but instead of doing so they followed in the ways of the other nations among whom they lived and served their gods. God’s people had transgressed and He had to punish them by forsaking them for awhile. You can read about this in the Kings and Chronicles.

One of the well-known kings that ruled over Israel was Omri, the father of Ahab. Omri must have been a popular world figure, an absolute liberal in our modern terminology.  He adopted foreign laws and practices from the surrounding nations. Today this is the same with us. On studying the history of Israel and comparing it with ours we find that it is basically the same. At that stage Israel was known as “Omri” in the heathen world, especially among the Assyrians who overpowered them and took them into captivity. They were no longer known as the “House of Israel”, but as the “House of Omri”. It is very important to bear this in mind.

In their historical writings the Assyrians refer to the “House of Omri” which they had taken into captivity. As declension sometimes happens with words and names, so also “Omri” later became “Khumri”, “Gomri”, “Kimri” and “Kimerie”. Historians that delve deep into the history will find these names. However, no one is aware of the fact that all  these names refer to “Israel”. Instead, it is generally believed that the names refer to a new nation that appeared on the scene as captives of the Assyrians. Consequently, the “House of Israel” has disappeared from history books and has been replaced by “The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel”. Today many theologians say that we don’t know what happened to the ten tribes. They claim that the ten tribes simply disappeared among the nations. But this could not have happened, because notwithstanding their iniquity and digression, God had made an everlasting covenant with them.

With the collapse of the Assyrian and Babylonian Empires and also thereafter, the Persian Empire, the ten tribes with their new names escaped from their captivity. Although they were not aware of it, the hand of God was of course always on them. God had an everlasting appointment with them. They had an inexplicable urge to move out of the areas of their captivity in a North-Westerly direction. It was the area which God had predestined for them. There they were to develop into the nations of the Reformation and carry civilization and Christianity to the four corners of the earth. But they would remain ignorant of their identity until the end, that is now.

A great deal of this migration was in full swing at the time of our Lord Jesus’ birth. At the beginning of his ministry He said to his disciples in

5          These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6          but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7          And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8          Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

He said the same to the Canaanite woman in Matt.15:24.

“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

It is wonderful when the scene begins to unfold itself and we can see where our roots as an Afrikaner Nation lie. It explains our religious strain which distinguishes us from the heathen around us.

These “Lost sheep of Israel” did not move to the East, but to the West. About the same time a certain group of nations, after they had moved across the Caucasus Mountains, made their appearance for the first time in Western Europe. They are still known today in ethnology and history as the Caucasian Race. The nations of Western Europe are now known as the Caucasian Race, in contrast to the Negro Nations which are black and the Mongolian Nations or races which are yellow.

According to Matthew 10, it was to this Caucasian Race that Jesus sent his apostles. They accepted the Gospel and later also the Reformation, when Martin Luther nailed his Theses to the door of the Church in Wittenberg in 1517. It is clear that this Caucasian Race was none other than the ten tribes.

Why did these nations accept the Reformation? Why did the Latin Nations, large areas of France, Greece, and the whole Middle-East not accept the Reformation, but held on to the Roman Catholic faith?  The nations of the Reformation were the most homogeneous group of nations in the whole world. They invaded as it were Western Europe and began developing in the modern nations from which we descended. When you see any of these pure West-European Nations, for example on sports fields, they look just like our Afrikaner sons and daughters. If you take an average person from each of those nations and compare them by placing them alongside each other, you would not be able to distinguish a Scot, or an Englishman or a German or a Hollander. Is this coincidental? Now you can see where these nations from Western Europe come from. In Deut.4:20 we read what the LORD said to Moses about this Israel people:

“But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.”

This people of inheritance is not the Jew or the Indian or the Chinese or the Blacks! No other group of nations accepted the Gospel, proclaimed it, or died for it. Do you not begin to see the light now? Does this not bring to you an awareness of your calling, your responsibility, and of who you are? We are God’s people of inheritance, He called us to show forth his praise and to glorify his Name. In Isai.43:21 God says:

“This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.”

Which nation on earth showed forth God’s praise? Not the Jew! They crucified Jesus and bribed the guards into saying that his disciples had stolen his body and that He did not arise from the dead. From that day onwards until today, the Jews are still trying to destroy the Christian Gospel. Which group of nations brought the Bible, Christian literature and the Christian Gospel to the world? These homogeneous nations, and we Afrikaners descended from them. In Isai.51:7 God says of these people:

“Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.”

I know I am making a grave statement, but there is no other such nation on earth. Some time ago a Canadian interviewed me about the Afrikaner. The cassette was spread in many countries, inter alia the USA and Western Europe. An English lady in our country also listened to the cassette and wrote me a venomous letter, saying that I was exalting the Afrikaner. However, given the descent of the Afrikaners, you can judge for yourselves when reading Isai.51:7. I know that we are far from where we should be, but deep within our being we are the most God-fearing people in the world. That is why the Liberalist, Humanist and Communist are manipulating us so, even in the church. They are trying by all means to load a guilt complex upon us because we don’t want to assimilate and worship with the Blacks.

Many Afrikaners that I meet, tell me how grateful they are to hear this truth. They go to church because they respect the Bible and fear God, but then they are told by the preachers that they must worship together with people of other colours. Scriptures are taken out of context, but deep in their hearts something always tells them it is wrong. This will be so, because God’s law is written in their hearts. Scriptures are distorted, the leaders of God’s people have become deceivers and no longer know God’s Word. Deep in every Afrikaner’s being he knows something is wrong, but he doesn’t know what it is. This is the reason why God has led me, even before I was in the ministry (this past more than thirty years), to proclaim this truth. We have a literature room with all my writings which are available to you, as well as cassettes and videos of more than one thousand titles wherein God has led me to show the Afrikaner people who they are.

Remember my subject, “The Afrikaner A Unique Nation”. You have already read Deut. 4:20. Let’s compare Joel 3:2.

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehosh’aphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.”

God says this of no other nation. He calls no other nation his “people of inheritance”, only Israel. As their descendants we are also God’s people of inheritance. Read Amos 3:2.

“You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”

“You only have I known”, is an important point. That is why God punishes us. Recently I presented a talk in Bloemfontein on the judgments of God, wherein I dealt with God’s covenant with Israel and the wonderful promises if they obeyed Him, and the punishments if they disobeyed Him. A parent punishes his own child. He laid down rules for his child, and if the child does not comply with them and rebels against him, the parent shall punish him. When another child comes over to play with your child and transgresses, you can reprimand him but cannot punish him. This is what our Heavenly Father is also doing with us. It is for the very reason that we are God’s people that He punishes us!

In Deut.7:6-8 God told our ancestors, Israel:

6          For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God...

Any theologian or preacher will tell you that “holy” means apart or separate, therefore we can read here:

“For thou art a separate people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”

Isn’t this wonderful?

7          The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

8          but because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

This predestination is the true election of a people, his “people of inheritance”. Read also Jer.31:9, 20.

9          They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and E’phra-im is my firstborn.

20         Is E’phra-im my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake againt him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

On studying the Bible you will find that the LORD always uses the name Ephraim as representing the whole of Israel. We have become a disobedient nation, that is why God’s bowels are troubled because of us. Every parent can bear witness that when he punishes his child he suffers more than the child. A true parent punishes out of principle, not out of anger to cool down, but to teach the child correctly. So the LORD is also teaching us, and we still have a lot to go through. But praise the LORD! we are his heritage and He promised never to leave nor forsake us.

Let us read Jer.31:35-37.

35         Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; the LORD of hosts is his name:

36         If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37         Thus saith the LORD; if heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

By implication, those heavenly bodies referred to shall never disappear, therefore we will never cease to be a people before God. It is our guarantee. The Afrikaner is a unique nation. This truth changes a person. Your perspective of yourself, your people, your future. You receive a command to stand, and if necessary to die, for this matter, because we are God’s people of inheritance. Exodus 4:22

“And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn.”

Here the LORD speaks of us! No wonder that the devil lays so much emphasis in the preaching and politics on: without race, without colour, all together, love thy neighbour, learn to know and understand each other, go to school together, go to church together, then the conflicts will be eliminated. On the contrary, then the conflicts will increase! God will also need to increase his punishment. We must awaken, truly repent, then God’s punishment of the nation will cease. We must repudiate our ministers, pastors and theologians who preach falsities, and devote ourselves as a nation to God. When we do this, God shall again fill us with his Holy Spirit, we will be able to stand up like a Moses, Elijah, Jeremiah and John the Baptist of old, who stood with the finger of God and proclaimed: “ So saith the LORD”. Then our troubles shall cease.

We face a tremendous challenge. May God have mercy on us. We are God’s elect! There are wonderful Scriptures that prove this. When you study the Scriptures you will notice that the saved and religious are not God’s elect, but Israel, of which we are a part. We are elected to be God’s servants, to show forth his praise and to glorify his Name.

Let us read Rom.4:13.

“For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.”

Abraham and we are inheritors of the world. Satan hates us because of it and wants to prevent it.

I said earlier that if the Whites fall, then South Africa falls. Communists will flood the earth and the Gospel will be extinguished. Satan is therefore trying to destroy us in two ways: by brute force, or by bastardization, or both. At the moment we are experiencing these times. The objective is that we lose our identity so that we are no longer part of God’s people. Then we are bastards and no longer Israelites. You need to know who you are and to claim God’s promises. In Mal.3:6 God says:

“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

For I have made a covenant, an everlasting irrevocable covenant, an unconditional covenant, and surely I will fulfil what I have promised, even if I have to carry your judgments myself because of your obstinacy, disobedience and faithlessness. But I will let you come through on the other side: purified, sanctified and cleansed. And I will achieve my objective for you. I will yet rule this earth through my people, Israel, with my Son, Jesus, on the throne of his father David, to lead this world back to harmony with God and to what Adam left and lost in the paradise.

Therefore fellow-Afrikaner, this is your greatest moment:

Know your identity,

Know your God,

Know your Redeemer.

God bless you and give you a faithful and a devoted heart in Jesus Name!
